Thanksgiving
Each Thanksgiving, East End House provides hundreds of individuals and families with Thanksgiving Baskets that include turkeys and all of the fixings for a traditional Thanksgiving meal.
Food Donations

Hold a food drive at your organization! Encourage employees to bring in non-perishable holiday foods in the weeks before Thanksgiving or donate fresh foods the weekend before the drive.

The deadline for all food donations is Monday, November 25th at 5pm.
Volunteer

Bring yourself, family, friends, and/or co-workers to East End House to help us prepare for the Thanksgiving Turkey Basket Giveaway! Or, come the day of the Giveaway to help hand out Baskets.

You can volunteer for as little as one hour on Monday, November 24th between 9am-5pm or Tuesday, November 25th between 9am-6pm.

Holiday Toy Drive
Each holiday season, East End House provides toys, essential personal items, and warm clothes to families who could not otherwise afford gifts for the holidays. The Holiday Toy Drive is a great way for individuals, community groups, and corporations to give back during the holiday season. There are a number of ways you can help.
Toy and Gift Collection

Collect new unwrapped toys for children ages 0-14. You can drop them off at East End House between Wednesday, December 10th and Monday, December 15th

Fill stockings with essential items such as toothpaste, soap, deodorant and other toiletries. You can drop off the items at East End House between Wednesday, December 10th and Monday, December 15th (We will provide the empty stockings).
Adopt-a-Family

Each year, families who are really struggling to get through the holidays are chosen to be "adopted." We will provide you with a wish list from the family to use as a reference when shopping. Wrapped and labeled gifts can be dropped off at East End House between Monday, December 15th and Friday, Dececmber 19th.
Volunteer

Volunteers are needed to help sort toys on Tuesday, December 16th and to hand out toys on Wednesday, December 17th and Thursday, December 18th.

Give to the Annual Fund
You can also make a difference in the lives of the children, families, seniors, and individuals who utilize the programs and services at East End House all year long by making a donation to the East End House Annual Fund.
